Lovey Want's

Lovey wants the impossible by wanting to be Shirley Temples, knowing that she can’t. But I think she hopes that one day she can be Shirley. It doesn’t do her good by wanting to be someone else. Maybe pretending to be someone else makes her life easier; I don’t really know how to explain it. Maybe Lovey thinks Shirley has the look of a classic American girl. Because Lovey is Japanese she feel like she won’t be accepted in America, that she has to look like Shirley. By wanting to be accepted she starts to lose her self, trying to be someone she is not. In the end she will only succeed in damaging herself.

Collaboration

Some benefits of collaborating are that it gets more people involved, and you get work done faster by dividing the work to each person. It’s a better way to get to know your classmates, and get to know what they are good at, so if you work with them again you already know how to divide the work. You get more ideas rather than having one idea. The disadvantages are that you may end up with a person who is a procrastinator, or a person who ends up doing all the work. You may have disagreements or not like the classmate in your group.

My Home

Home is where you are yourself, being around the people you love and are important to you. To me it's being around my sister and family. When I’m around my family I feel normal, like I don't have to pretend to be someone else. It’s doesn’t have to necessary be a house because we either are going to move or have moved. It’s what in the house that counts, being near loved ones. A home can also be a very important person to you, someone that you want to protect and keep safe, a important person that’s in your heart.
